When I give a game a score in my head its on a sliding scale. There is no perfect game or totally broken game to me, rather a 10 for me means its the best game I've ever played and a 1 is the worst.
It works. As I come across games that are just mind blowingly good (to me) I tell myself and friends its a 10. Sooner or later when I find another that exceeds it it becomes a 9 and the new game a 10.
I feel reviews should be based on what you have played to...
I'm the same way. If I'm selling a big ticket item like a console I use craigslist to maximize return on investment. If I found a copy of pokemon under my couch from 4 years ago I just go to GameStop and get a dollar of my next purchase.

Hey, I snickered at the Wii u for a while then got one for my bday a few weeks ago. The game pad is flipping awesome. If there are no graphical differences that really stand out on the ps4 I'm gonna get this for my Wii u. Using the gamepad and having it always open would be sweet.

The disagree button is not to tell a OP what he said is untrue for OP, rather if the statement is untrue for the reader. In this case OP said "Xbox one has the best games." Applying that statement to me, I disagree because for me ps4 has the best games. It has nothing to do about OPs feelings or beliefs.
The cream rises to the top. Take Demons Souls. It cost a fraction of what you said devs spend and it was a hit. I'm glad a lot of the flashy games will go away. You don't need to spend 10 million to make a hit, you simply need to make a game that's fun to play.
Sure, the uncharteds and bio shocks are nice to have but l would take 3 demons souls and a dishonored over 1 dead space any way.

See, I just bought a Wii u cause I like the Mario and Lego land stuff. My mature games I get on ps3...soon to be ps4. Wiiu is a good system. After gaming the last of us on my 55 led in the living room I go lay down in bed and play Mario on the tablet while watching storage wars. If I get into it I hit one button and there it is on my 43 inch plasma.
Captain, you keep bringing up this 10 friends thing but you're not seeing the fine print. MS is saying you can do this IF the dev enables it. Plus, it says terms can be subject to change.

Problem is there would be no society left. Yes, this crime is henious. So is murder. And rape. And violent robberies, car jacking, home invasion and hate crimes. People strung out stealing my car stereo. Workers at companies who dump toxins in our well water. Big tobacco. The pharmaceutical industries pushing stuff on people who don't need it.
Take them all away and there would be you and frank from accounting left on the planet.
